I had the opportunity of reading the book ‘When God Steps In, Miracles Happen’, written by Neale Donald Walsch. This is a work written for souls languid from day-to-day challenges, those in a state of ramshackle who hold an inner acquiescence that things might not change for the better. Tut! This may not be true. This book uplifts your inner low feelings with many examples that showcase the better parts of life, instilling every chapter as an update that your soul requires to understand that "Miracles Happen"—if only you believe in them. The core of this book holds to the concept of God, suggesting that having faith in the Divine makes the impossible; possible.

The writer, Neale Donald Walsch, is an author on spirituality and personal development. As mentioned in the book, his works have sold copies worldwide and have been translated into various languages. As noted in the book, from every corner of the world and all walks of life, readers of ‘Conversations with God’ have written to Walsch about their own experiences of God's presence in their lives. Their stories of incredible contemporaneity, extraordinary coincidental circumstances and everyday miracles make the book a source of joy for seekers of spirituality.

This book is the crème de la crème of positivity and a reverie for a depressed mind. The language is simple, but the message is powerful. Through a collection of stories, the book invigorates positivity in the minds of readers and help them understand that having faith in God help one to move forward in life, challenging any difficult situations. The author states that this is a re-issue of a work produced in 2001 under the title Moments of Grace.

From a critical perspective, Walsch’s work serves as a fascinating bridge between anecdotal testimony and spiritual philosophy. While skeptics might view these "moments of grace" as mere statistical probabilities or confirmation bias, the book’s strength lies in its psychological utility. It functions as a reframing tool, encouraging the reader to shift their "internal gaze" from scarcity to abundance. However, the narrative structure occasionally leans heavily on emotional resonance and theological deep-diving, which may leave those seeking a rigorous academic study of the miraculous wanting more. Nevertheless, as a catalyst for hope, it is undeniably effective in its mission to prove that perspective is the primary lens through which the Divine is experienced.

If I were to rate ‘When God Steps In, Miracles Happen’, I would give it 8 out of 10. This rating reflects not only its research and analysis but its ability to evoke profound introspection and a shift in one's spiritual climate.
